アメリカ優勝 女子第4戦スイス大会

6月21日から24日まで、SWATCH-FIVBワールドツアー2006女子大会第4戦スイス大会が行われた。24日の決勝で強豪ブラジルのFelisberta Silva/Françaペア制して優勝したのはアメリカのケリー・ウォルシュ/ミスティ・メイ ペアだ。
アテネ五輪の優勝ペアであるケリー・ウォルシュ/ミスティ・メイ ペアは今大会でも第1戦イタリア大会で2位、第2戦ギリシャ大会で優勝など輝かしい成績を残して続けており、今回二度目の優勝、三つ目のメダルを手に入れた。3位には、勢いをつける中国のWang/Tian Jiaペアがランクインした。
日本から出場した楠原千秋/浦田聖子ペア、田中姿子/小泉栄子ペアは予選3回戦で敗れて共に33位、鈴木洋美/佐伯美香ペアは予選2回戦で敗れて41位、真壁美穂/小栗幸恵ペアは予選1回戦で敗れて57位、楠原千秋浅尾美和/西堀健美ペアは国（地域）出場枠予選で真壁美穂/小栗幸恵ペアに敗れて予選出場はならなかった。
