白鳥・西村 本選へ 男子第10戦パリ大会

7月25日と26日の2日間、SWATCH-FIVBワールドツアー2006男子大会第10戦パリ大会の予選が行われた。予選上位8チームが本選出場権を獲得できる。
日本からは白鳥勝浩（レオパレスビーチウインズ/湘南ベルマーレ）/西村晃一（レオパレスビーチウインズ）ペア、朝日健太郎（フリー）/渡辺聡（湘南ベルマーレ）ペアの2チームがエントリー。
朝日健太郎/渡辺聡ペアは予選2回戦で敗退し本選出場はならなかったが、白鳥勝浩/西村晃一ペアは接戦をくりかえす苦しい展開の中、見事予選を勝ち抜き本選への出場資格を得た。
